Why is our Match Challenge running through the 4th of July?
The campaign ends on Independence Day to highlight our mission of enhancing independence and quality of life for our Neighbors on MDI and the surrounding islands, regardless of age or disability.
We know that many Mainers take pride in their independence, and we want folks to know that being independent doesn't mean going it alone. Knowing when to seek out the resources that you need to thrive only strengthens your independence, it doesn't diminish it.
Island Connections wants to stay a strong organization so that it's there for all of us when we need it, whether it's when we age or simply when life takes an unexpected turn.
